Imaging circumstellar disks around young stars by multi-aperture interferometry.

Abstract

Theoretical models of star formation predict the existence of a circumstellar disk around young stellar objects. In this paper, the authors present synthetic images of circumstellar accretion disks, computed from a model where the complete disk vertical structure is solved. The images are discussed in the framework of multi-aperture interferometry.
