A Component Driven Development Process From The System Design To The Final Implementation

Abstract

This paper describes a “seamless” component driven engineering process for control law or mode management software whose algorithms are designed in Simulink/Stateflow. An interface mechanism between this tool and a real- time target allows gathering the components modelling and the components implementation in a unique process flexible and adaptable. The component architecture is preserved during all the development and the closed-loop between the avionics components and the environment is never broken, enabling the developper to perform representative simulation form the first system model until the final implementation.
