Évaluation des facteurs physiographiques et leurs impacts sur les ressources en eau dans les bassins versants d'Essaouira (Essaouira, Maroc)

Abstract : The coastal zone of the Essaouira syncline (study area) is an area where rainfall does not exceed 317 mm / year during the studied period (1990-2015), with a very high ETP value can reach 766 mm. The climate is arid to semi-arid with a significant dry period of six to seven months. Water resources in the Essaouira zone have experienced, like the other regions of Morocco, a significant drop in quality and quantity. The application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) made it possible to evaluate the physical factors of the watersheds constituting the western part of the Essaouira Basin (Coastal Zone) where the watershed of Ait Tahria has an elongated shape with low slopes and a fairly strong relief, while the slopes are relatively high with a strong relief for Qsob and Tidzi watersheds.
