Atmospheric CO2 sensing by DIAL using a high energy, high purity and high stability parametric source

Résumé

We report on the development of a tunable parametric source emitting 10-mJ, 10-ns-long, Fourier-transform-limited pulses with high frequency stability, and its implementation in a direct detection lidar operating at 2051 nm for carbon dioxide sensing.
