Abstract : The French researeh program " PNRH Altiplano" is dedicated to the study of the main aquifer in the central part of the Altiplano in Bolîvia. A TDEM survey has been carried out in order to investigate the global resistivity arrangement related to the aquifer. Three ranges of resistivities can be idenlified : 0.1-1 oméga (clays and brines), 1-10 oméga (clays and salt waler),10-50 oméga (clayey to sandy formations). The conductive substratum, outcropping in the south-east part, deepens north-westward to depths of more than 250 m and is related to impermeable layer.
