Automatic Detection of H2O and CO2 Ices in OMEGA/MEX Images for the Monitoring of the South Polar Cap Recession

Résumé

The martian seasonal polar ice deposit is a major annual climatic signal observed by OMEGA/MEX. We will use an algorithm, wavanglet, for the automatic detection of the spectral signatures of H2O and CO2 ices during martian spring and summer of 2005.
