The Marseille Medical Genetics Center (MMG), led by Professor Nicolas LEVY, Laboratory formerly known as Medical Genetics and Functional Genomics (GMGF)

The MMG explores all aspects of genomics, from human genetics to developmental biology, from epigenetics to genome dynamics and from bioinformatics to system biology. The different teams are particularly interested in four main families of rare diseases affecting:

  • Aging and Cancers
  • The central nervous system and neuroendocrine tissues
  • The heart
  • The neuromuscular system

 

The collection of the medical genetics center in Marseille hosts scientific production by researchers, lecturers and doctoral students in the laboratory.

 It permits:

  • To disseminate widely the results of the research produced by the laboratory
  • Increase the visibility of the scientific production of researchers in the laboratory, freely accessible and indexed by most search engines
